About the Omni MIDD Library

What this is
The Omni MIDD Library is Magnolia Sciences' platform for publishing and running scientific models. Every model is a self-contained computational core paired with a declarative manifest that describes its inputs, outputs, and how they should be presented. Open a model to run simulations, inspect its structure, and explore how its parameters shape its predictions.
How it works
Each model's compute core is written once and can run on interchangeable substrates: on the server, client-side in your browser via WebAssembly, or in a local desktop application. The same model produces the same results on every substrate, so results are portable and reproducible — the interface never depends on where the computation ran.
Because the user interface is generated entirely from each model's manifest, adding a new model does not require new interface code. That keeps the library consistent from one model to the next and makes the marginal cost of publishing a model small.
